Mike .. for me .. I like a light-weight footprint.  So I have a newish iPad mini and an ultralight 13” laptop.  I like my phones on the small side … so my phone is tough to use, except that I find the US Sailing App for RRS and Appeals handy if that’s all I have.  - Ang

I use a cheap android tablet - Samsung A7 lite. Access the internet via home wifi to load files. Can also connect to your cell phone via bluetooth.

Thanks …. Just wondering what other judges found useful before I flashed out 💸 💵 on a new iPad.  My screen has become unreliable and it’s prob not cost effective to get it fixed.  😢

I use an IPad, but other tablets may be as good? Try John Lewis for q good range.

not exactly OPs question ... i recently noticed, that the WS app does not display any books even those that i do have locally on the device, if the device is not connected anyhow to the internet (e.g. if WLAN is disabled). can someone reproduce this behauviour?

Christian, I just put my iPad in airplane-mode and turned-off my Wi-Fi and I had no issue opening the RRS in the WS app.
